Welcome to the Merrijig Inn - Our special place in Port Fairy. The oldest Inn in Victoria, we are located in the heart of the historic village, opposite the wharf area & the beautiful Moyne River. The Merrijig Inn offers traditional bed & breakfast style accommodation with a very big serving of homely comforts. Our Queen & King Suites are spacious, located in the house adjoining the old inn. Our cosy lounge with open fire & various sitting rooms offer a place to relax, magazines to browse & there is always our garden to explore Breakfast is very important, with a smorgasboard of home-made fruits & preserves, sourdough bread and our cooked breakfast of the day using free-range eggs & local bacon. Of course, great coffee is guaranteed! Our restaurant, the Merrijig Kitchen offers a daily written menu highlighting local produce, inspired by the seasons. Our wine list is carefully crafted focusing on bio-dynamic winemakers whose wine speaks of 'terrior'. Open for dinner Thursday - Monday.
