National Museum, Sri Lanka

National Museum, Colombo, Sri Lanka located south of the Viharamahadevi Park is open to public daily except Friday 9am-5pm. Phones and cameras are not allowed. Set in an elegant colonial building, the museum houses vast and absorbing collection of artefacts from prehistoric era to colonial era. Behind the National Museum are The Natural History Museum and National Art Gallery.
