The Hideaway Location
Katunayake, where the Island's International airport lies, constantly maintains a warm, humid temperature! The terminal busses and airport buildings however maintain a cool air-conditioned temperature.

As you leave the the hustle & bustle of the airport and factories, and journey through charming villages, one will arrive in the tranquil countryside with lush paddy fields and rolling coconut estates .

Most shops seem to display their wares outside, adding colour to the already colourful towns. Temples and churches together with fruit vendors in little kajan huts ushering you to purchase their goods, are consistently found along the road.
The Hideaway Accommodation
The bedrooms are really mini suites that will take your breath away if you have at least one romantic bone in your body. Two large bedrooms called Sun and moon (you will know why when you see the décor) and one smaller bedroom called the star.The large antique four-poster bed takes pride of place and once you lie in it you will probably not want to leave it.

If the bedroom took your breath away, you had better take a deeper breath before you enter the open-air bathroom. This carefully designed epitome of rustic luxury is truly the highlight of the place and you are sure to spend many memorable moments in it especially if you have arrived with someone special.
