Corbets View Location

Originally known as the "Dumbara Kanduvetiya" by the locals and named as "The Knuckles Range" by British surveyors, the Corbet's View Hotel is located on the Eastern slopes from Corbet's Gap at an elevation of 3250ft. Corbet's Gap is found in the South region of the mountain range while "Corbet" was the surveyor who mapped the area during the 19th century.

Roughly about 55km away from Kandy, the route to the hotel takes you through Kundasale, Digana, Teldeniya, Medamahanuwara, Hunnsagiriya, Kobonilla and Knuckles. The Mountains 'Kobonilagala' and 'Dumbangala' are found in the immediate surroundings.
