In the heart of Minho, Casa Lata - Agroturismo is located on a property of about 3. 6 hectares, between Braga (10kms) and Peneda Gerês National Park (30kms), in the north of Portugal. It has 10 double rooms and 4 twin rooms in the main house, guests can also enjoy common spaces such as a lounge, which once gave way to the wine cellar, game room, outdoor swimming pool (for adults and children) and numerous green spaces surrounding the house. It has the history of a farm house minhota where its people dedicated themselves to the agriculture. As milestones of many traditional activities still exist the granary, the wine press, the alembic and numerous agricultural tools. On arrival our guests are welcomed with a glass of Vinho Verde, and if they wish to know more about the production of Vinho Verde the owner, José Costa, will be happy to make a visit to the winery.
