About this experience
Board your private vehicle in Negombo and head north with your English-speaking chauffeur guide for a two-day blend of ancient culture and wild Sri Lanka. Day one takes you into Anuradhapura, a UNESCO World Heritage Site whose sacred dagobas, sacred Bo tree, and royal ruins span more than two millennia of Sinhalese civilisation. Your guide walks you through the key monuments while you set your own pace between sites.
On day two, the vehicle rolls into Wilpattu National Park — Sri Lanka's largest, and home to the highest concentration of leopards in the country. Scan the villus (natural lakes) for leopards, sloth bears, spotted deer, and waterbirds during your jeep safari. Transport, fuel, highway tolls, and two 500 ml water bottles per person per day are covered throughout. Hotel accommodation, meals, and park entrance fees are arranged separately.
