About this experience
Step into a private car from Hikkaduwa and spend two days exploring the cultural and wild heart of southern Sri Lanka. Your English-speaking chauffeur guide takes you to two striking Buddhist temples, where Buddha statues rise over 100 feet and intricately painted passages, murals, and figurines fill every corner. Stop at the Madunagala hot water springs to bathe in the naturally heated, mineral-rich waters before settling in for the night.
On day two, climb into a jeep for back-to-back safaris — first through Bundala Wildlife Sanctuary, then into Yala National Park, two of Sri Lanka's largest and most celebrated wild spaces. All road transport, chauffeur costs, fuel, parking, and highway tolls are covered, as is breakfast and a jeep safari in each park. Hotel accommodation and entrance fees are arranged separately.
