This secluded lodge is set in its own private grounds about five minutes' drive out of the Wanaka town centre. It boasts stunning views across Maple trees to the Southern Alps and Mt Aspiring National Park. Each guest suite is designed for maximum comfort, with luxurious bedding, Italian tiles, underfloor heating and walk-in showers. All suites have their own private patio or balcony with most having garden and mountain views in the distance. The lounge and dining room are wonderful for relaxing over your homemade breakfast or afternoon tea (served daily). A hot tub in the garden is the perfect place for stargazing with a glass of local wine. Maple Lodge is owned by the Brock family. Originally farmers from south of Wanaka but with a lifelong attachment to the beautiful region, you'll enjoy being hosted by Kiwis during your stay at Maple Lodge. There are bikes available for guests to use and exploring the local cycle trails from the lodge is a fabulous way to see the area. If you'd prefer, the trails are equally enjoyable on foot. In the evening, Wanaka is a short drive for dinner, or enjoy the long summer nights, cooking on the BBQ at Maple Lodge.
