Barefoot Ceylon

Barefoot는 1960년대 초 베 짜기를 배우는 여성들을 위해 디자인을 시작한 예술가 바버라 산소니가 세운 콜롬보의 수직 공방입니다. 선명한 색과 단순한 기하학 무늬의 천은 면으로 손으로 짜며, 재봉사들이 이를 사롱, 숄, 가방, 봉제 인형, 쿠션 커버와 가정용 린넨으로 만듭니다.

Galle Road에 있는 Barefoot Bookshop은 1990년 책장 하나로 시작했으며, 스리랑카 작가의 책, 스리랑카에 관한 책, 그리고 미술·건축·디자인·사진 화보집을 전문으로 합니다.
