Riad Chorfa

Perfectly situated in the heart of the ancient medina and the souks, the beautiful Riad Chorfa is a palace dating back to the 18th century, caringly restored and opened in 2000 as a luxury boutique hotel. It has maintained many of its Moorish features, such as a lovely interior courtyard with a fountain. Famous Djemma el Fna square is only 400 metres away; the traditional markets can be reached within a 2-minute stroll. Ben Youssef Madrasa with its 16th-century Islamic architecture is within a 10-minute walk. A wonderful place to start exploring this fascinating city.
