About this experience
Board a private yacht at Kurrikkaduwan Jetty — roughly 40 minutes from Jaffna town — at 9 am and set sail for Delft Island. On the island, you spot the famous miniature wild horses roaming freely, trace the ancient coral walls, visit the historic lighthouse, and explore the old pigeon house. Back on board, a freshly prepared local lunch of fish, rice, and vegetables is served before the afternoon opens up for swimming, snorkelling, and stand-up paddle boarding on the calm northern waters.
This two-day private tour includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks throughout, so there is nothing to organise once you're on the water. Hotel pickup and drop-off are not included, and gratuities remain at your discretion. Minimum age for participants is five years. Lakpura handles all arrangements, leaving you free to enjoy one of Sri Lanka's most remote and rewarding island escapes.
