About this experience
Depart from the Colombo City Helipad (MOD Helipad) and watch the urban skyline give way to lush paddy fields and jungle canopy as you fly north towards Sigiriya. The total flying time is 110 minutes return, putting you at Sigiriya Airfield in roughly an hour — far faster than the road journey and with sweeping aerial views of the Cultural Triangle along the way.
On the ground, your chauffeur guide meets you at the airfield and drives you directly to the iconic Sigiriya rock fortress. Explore at your own pace before your guide transfers you back for the return flight to Colombo. This is a private tour, so the schedule revolves entirely around your group. Minimum age is 10 years. Note that entrance fees to the historical site and meals are not included.
