Each suite has an overall footprint of 180 m2 (100 m2 indoor and 80 m2 of terrace and outdoor showers), comprising two bedrooms (which can be configured as two king size beds or a king size bed and two single beds), two indoor showers, two outdoor showers, a large living room, a private terrace and a c. 1000 m2 private garden. Designed for a couple with two children or two couples, various configurations are available to best suit your needs and are ideal for families and friends.
Kolaya Suites, taking their name after the Sinhalese word for ‘leaf’, are set in their own lush private gardens, with Palmyra trees, pandanus and other indigenous plant species typical of the east coast. With an overall footprint of 90 m2 (50 m2 indoor and 40 m2 of private terrace and outdoor shower), a c. 800 m2 private garden, and a king-size bed, this is the perfect suite for a couple in search of intimacy in their own secluded garden.
Palam Suites, meaning ‘fruit’ in Tamil, have direct sea frontage. Set in the shade of Karpaha’s old coconut plantation, you are a stone’s throw away from the beach and will enjoy soothing views of the sea while watching fishermen languorously pull in their nets from your private terrace. With an overall footprint of 110 m2 (60 m2 indoor plus 50 m2 of private terrace and outdoor shower) and a king-size bed, this is the perfect suite for couples in search of the soothing calmness of the sea. Our nine Palam Suites are designed for a base occupancy of 2 guests, and can accommodate up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children upon request. One of our Palam Suites has been designed to accommodate travelers with reduced mobility and wheelchairs.
