About Beddegama Ecopark, Tissamaharama
The Beddegama Ecopark is situated in the Deep South of Sri Lanka, in Tissamaharama. It's 10.5 Km from Tissamaharama along Kataragama main road. It's about 300 m from the tissamaharama - Kataragama main road at Kawantissapura. It's about 32 Km from Mattala Rajapaksha International Airport (MRIA) to Beddegama Ecopark and 315 Km from Katunayake International Airport.Beddegama Ecopark is surrounded with Range of mountains known as 'Wedahiti Kanda' god Kataragama was known to live in this mountain. Stretched to Yala national park boundary you can have a view of panorama entire aria the height of this sacred mountain.
The jungle around the Beddegama Ecopark involved with all kind of tropical fauna and flora with bushes and tall trees. The thickest is undisturbed for many hundred years and nature is real origin.
