ABOUT BACK OF BEYOND - WELLNESS RETREAT, TANGALLE
Kahandamodara, turning off just after Ranna on Galle - Hambantota main road. Closest main town is Tangalle (15 km). Named after the flocks of peacocks that strut across the land, this 10 acre retreat lies on the eastern bank of the Urubokka Oya. Open scrub land typical to the southern dry zone merges with river-side vegetation. They are gradually turning parts of the high ground back into a dry zone farm, whilst foresting other parts of the land.
