This stone built eco-resort set in a protected nature reserve surrounded by woods, is a haven of peace and tranquillity in the heart of Umbria. For visitors who want to return to fundamental basics and discover themselves this is the place. Here there is no air-conditioning, television, telephone or mini-bar, despite that it is a high-tech, eco-friendly facility that uses natural energy but once evening falls the rooms are lit by candlelight. The wellness corner offers a small pool carved out of rock, a steam bath and a stone seated relaxation area. All the fare served in the restaurant is homemade from organic produce either grown in the kitchen garden or local farms. The accommodation consists of single rooms that have been modelled on monk cells so they are austere but there is under floor heating, a stone desk with views of the garden and woods and a small en-suite bathroom.
