In a jungle plain framing Sigiriya rock fortress, 5th century kingdom and named 8th wonder of the world, overlooking the Kandalama Hills, surrounded by water bodies, wildlife sanctuaries and the ruins of ancient cities. Set amidst 200 acres of jungle and teak forest where wildlife, including elephant, visit to drink from the manmade 1500 year lake.

21 luxurious suites offer private plunge pools, uninterrupted views of the jungle plain and beyond. All have air-conditioning, four-poster bed, television, telephone, minibar, DVD player, dressing area, artists easel with painting materials, binoculars, bath, separate shower and terrace and day bed on private terrace in private garden.

Superior deluxe suites (SUP): as deluxe but more spacious and twin vanities.

Romantic suites: with indoor plunge pool (instead of outdoor plunge pool) and a mirror on top of the canopy.

Royal suites: with a much larger outdoor plunge pool, an aromatherapy lamp, seperate dressing room and more spacious than all the other suites, Royalty indeed!

Presidential Villa: 4 Suites, 1 dinning/sitting room and 2 large plunge pools - 2 acres in area

Include the "Ebony and Ivory" jungle bar, "Fables & Tales" library bar and the main "Ambrosia" restaurant for à la carte dining. You also have the opportunity to dine where you wish. Be it in your suite, private garden, under a tree or the stars, and at any time you wish. There is also a cold swimming pool, in every 6 star suite as well as in the jungle. Ayurvedic and wellness Spa and a small fitness room with steam and sauna. Around the property there are many nature trails to explore, resident naturalists are on hand to assist with local knowledge. Elephant rides, horse riding, bicycles and bird watching are available within the premises. Pool table, archery range and cricket practice net also available.
