| Amal-Villa apartments & rooms is a private-owned guesthouse with a friendly family restaurant in Robolgoda-Bentota near Alutgama-Beruwela on the south-west coast of Sri Lanka (Ceylon) in between Colombo and Galle. Have wonderful holidays with a lot of sun, palms, beach and a gorgeous coast line. We would also be glad to organize excursions and individual bus and boat trips for you. The Villa is in Bentota at the southwest coast of the tropical island. The distance from the airport is about 80 km. The wide and some several miles long sandy beach is less than 100 m from the Villa.

Bentota, about 60 km away from Colombo, which is one of the most visited cities on the island, with estimated 50.000 inhabitants.

The north of Bentota is connected to Beruwala and thus provides with its holiday centres a nearly connected coastline. The village charms through its location between ocean and laguna. Situated between both villages there is Alutgama with the railway station, which is the junction to change to visit The Botanical Gardens in the middle of the island. Bentota has many 5* hotels and is highly adjusted with the tourist in mind.

The river Bentota (Bentota Ganga), that builds the natural border between west and south provinces, is accessible with small boats in a length of more than 70 km. A boat trip may be arranged by your Amal Villa staff.

The guesthouse opened in 2002, a new build. It offers 6 comfortable & luxurious guestrooms in a private and friendly atmosphere.
Every room is delightfully furnished and offers a kingsize bed, with own on-suite and fan.
The 3 apartments have individually controlled air conditioning, have their own safe and their own terrace or balcony.

For your convenience there are sunbeds and beach mats available.
Or just relax with a book in the gracious living room. International phone and fax is available also.
And the distance to the beach is only 100 meters.

Our chef serves an extensive breakfast that includes fresh juices, exotic fruit dishes and omelettes - according to your wishes - and regardeless when you get up in the morning.
In our menu you can choose between local and european meals and drinks. We offer you various seafood platters and curries with all of its ingredients supplied from the daily market.

We would be glad to organize individual bus and boat trips for you. A car with air condition (up to 2 persons) or a minibus (up to 6 persons) and a driver will be available for you.
1 to 5 days trips may be booked directly at Amal-Villa.
We recommend a trip by Three Wheels to discover the nearby surroundings. An experienced driver will get you to your preferred destinations or will show you objects of interests far away from mass tourism".
